THE PROBLEm

Chronic pain affects over 50 million U.S. adults necessitating innovative, technology-driven solutions to improve patient care and outcomes on a large scale.

The solution

Visio pioneers a holistic approach to chronic pain management by integrating mobile and VR technologies, offering a real-time VR pain visualization experience alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and physical resources.

OUR USERS

Age Group

Individuals aged 18 and above, with a focus on adults due to the higher prevalence of chronic pain in this demographic.

Gender

Catering equally to all genders, as studies show no significant gender differences in CBT effectiveness.

Pain Type

People experiencing chronic or acute pain who are open to supplementary pain management methods.

Technology Access

Chronic pain sufferers with access to VR technology for the virtual reality component of the solution.

Anticipated Results

Increased user satisfaction

With personalized pain visualizations to calm users

Via personalized pain visualizations to calm users

Decreased time on task

Visio contains more features than competitors on the market, allowing the user to accomplish everything in one place.

Virtual Reality Pain Visualizations

Above are examples of the pain visualizations that could be experienced. Like any other VR space, the user would have the ability to look around at the visualization in front of them.

Aggressive pain visualization

This video showcases how the pain waves are more sporadic in size and and movement. As the user's heart rate is elevated, the rise and fall of the visualization will match.

calmed pain visualization

As the user's heart rate calms, the same pain visualization will slow down and the size of pain waves will decrease.
